Republican Tom Massie wants you to show him the money.
Specifically, he is asking his fellow congress members to join him in passing legislation that would require the US Comptroller General to complete an audit of the Federal Reserve System, as well as all Federal Reserve banks. Once the audit has been completed, the Comptroller is to draft a report of audit findings to be made available to any Congress member upon request.
Forty-six members of the Republican party joined with Massie to co-sponsor the bill, which has not had any motion in the House since it was first introduced.
